The William Bell archive holds an original 10 × 12-inch color transparency from a 1956 session Pre-Monaco, the image shows Kelly in a fur coat at a moment when her Hollywood career and public life were about to change.
These transparencies remained with Bell’s family and, to our knowledge, have not previously been published. Roberta Bell Liepolt, the photographer’s daughter, is preserving and documenting them as part of the William Bell archive.
